Fundraising Committee Meeting

At the recent group AGM, a group of parents have volunteered to help start a, much needed, fundraising committee. This is fantastic progress for the group, and we are very thankful for these parents volunteering.

The committee's first meeting will be on Thursday 17th May, 6pm at the Scout Hut. If you feel you might be able to spare a few hours every couple of months to help raise funds for the group then please come along to this meeting. ALL WELCOME.

Synergise 2012

Synergise is the County's big camp for 2012. Information about this camp has gone out to Beavers, Cubs and Scouts over the last few weeks. Please see the information letter below, along with a medical form and a 'permission to shoot' form - without this form, young people will not be allowed to shoot. Shooting is lead by fully trained and qualified instructors.

Scout Section - FULL

The Scout Troop have seen a recent period of growth, moving from 21 members in January 2012 to 33 in April 2012.

Because of this, the troop are now at capacity and any new enquiries will be placed on a waiting list. Of course we will advise new enquiries of other local troops who have spaces.
