Cub Cook-over Weekend | Monday 1st February. Written by Angela Matthews

From Friday 26th – Sunday 28th February 2010 we are planning to have a sleep over at the scout hut where your child will be preparing and cooking their own food under constant adult supervision. If your child has not already got their chef badge they will have after this weekend.

Also on the sleepover the cubs will have chance to earn their Home Help badge as well as cooking they have to learn to wash and iron their Necker’s and sew a badge onto their jumpers. I’m sure all you mums will appreciate this as they’ll be able to sew all their own badges on in future.

We will also be covering other cultures and religions which will go towards promise and global challenge badges.

The cost will be approx £20.00. If you would like your child to take part in this event please fill in the activity form and return them by 8th Feb 2010 with a £5.00 deposit.
