The Scout section are the 231st wear the teal green colour shirts, and navy blue scout activity trousers. This is all worn with the purple and grey neckerchief which is unique to the 231st Shiregreen (Sheffield) Scout Group. This is known as full smart uniform and every member of the troop has it.

Sometimes our shirts are not appropriate for the activity that we are doing, so the troop have purchased a stock of black 231st polo t-shirts. Which your child will receive, for free, after paying their first months of subs. These t-shirts are worn with the 231st purple and grey neckerchief and blue scout activity trousers.

As a Troop we have also taken the step of wearing our full smart uniform once a month only and on special occasions. This allows us to see the importance of keeping our uniforms smart and clean and to wear with pide.

What we wear and when:
First Tuesday of the Month - Full Smart Uniform
Every other Tuesday - Black Polo T-shirts, blue activity trousers and neckers
Special Occasions - Full Smart Uniform
