St George's Day | Friday 5th March. Written by Dan Levick
Don District Beavers, Cubs, Scouts, Explorers, Network and Leaders will all be gathering together
as ever to celebrate St George's Day at Hesley Wood on
Saturday 24th April between
1.30pm and 8pm. The afternoon
will consist of activities suitable for all ages and will hopefully be a great afternoons entertainment for the
young people. Everyone will also receive a printed t-shirt.
St George's Day is the only date in the Scouting calendar that is
not optional, we therefore
expect every Beaver, Cub and Scout from our group to attend this event, if not, an extremely good excuse should be given.
Failure to attend this event will result in the young person being put to the bottom of lists for events that are
classed as 'first come first served'.
During this event every member present will renew their Scout Promise, if you are unable to attend for the
afternoons activities you are still more than welcome to join us for the renewal of promises.
More information can be found in the following letter;
St George's Day.
Please fill it in and return along with a payment of £3 before
Wednesday 24th March.
Thanks
